Our Charity of Choice – SHELTER Charity for the Homeless

In line with our Core Values as a company (ref; Community and Environment We strive to help and improve the communities where we work and live. We are concerned about the environment and promote the use of recyclable products and renewable energy.), here at Sales Accelerant we have decided to pledge our future fundraising commitment to the ‘Shelter’ charity, which helps support vulnerable people of all generations through ensuring they have a roof over their heads and the personal security that this brings.

Our decision is based on the fact that Brighton & Hove is home to a significant number of registered and unregistered homeless people sleeping on the streets and at this time of year (i.e. November 2010/winter, when charity commitment decision has been made) when the temperatures are dropping below freezing and Christmas is fast approaching, we sense a strong need and calling to do what we can to minimize discomfort for those less fortunate than ourselves with no home to live in.

We have decided to kick off our fundraising activity through participation in the next Brighton Marathon which will take place in April 2011.

If you wish to make a financial donation towards sponsorship for this very worthy cause (i.e. Shelter Charity) please visit: http://www.justgiving.com/Duane-M-Lacey and make a contribution online. All donations are paid directly to the charity via the reputable Just Giving website.

In the coming months and years we plan to extend our commitment to the Shelter charity through a variety of initiatives which may include further athletic events.

With Christmas fast approaching please visit the Shelter website to check out their range of Christmas cards available for purchase, their corporate gift ranges and/or perhaps send out some e-cards: http://www.shelterecards.org.uk to friends, family and colleagues to help generate greater awareness of this vital charity.
