The Opportunity

MD Hub asked us to deliver a sales seminar & workshop session titled ‘Stimulating Your Sales – Tips & Techniques’, presenting to a number of MDs and sales directors spanning companies (small – large SMEs, some long term established companies and some 2-3 years old) in the following sectors: financial, law, software, I.T. infrastructure, marketing, web solutions, health & beauty.

The purpose of the seminar/workshop was to provide delegates with theoretical and practical insight and tips, in relation to sales strategies (e.g. push, pull, developing referral pathways/advocacy development), processes (e.g. CRM), vital insights (e.g. power of high quality data), selling approaches (e.g. consultative selling style et al) and a multitude of selling tips & techniques (e.g. maximising impact of voicemail messages and emails, engaging & by-passing gatekeepers, decision maker research methods to maximise strength of initial hooks – Linked In, Jigsaw, data profiles et al, and much more).

The Results

The seminar and workshop were both well received and since the event we have received a number of enquiries along the lines of providing sales training and lead generation campaigns for the companies of delegates who attended the event. The vast majority of delegates were seen taking many notes during the sales seminar & workshop session, each proposed a number of areas for business promotion/selling changes related to fresh insights gathered during the seminar. The feedback report, which was presented to us in an anonymised format approx 1 week after the event (collected by MD Hub independently for impartiality and maximum feedback participation/commitment), presented us with impressive results with a high level satisfaction score.
