Telling is not selling, so, what we do is highlight and discuss many of the core pharmaceutical marketing challenges synonymous with each stage of the product life-cycle and try to establish which resonate most with our target audience through stimulating discussion over the phone and/or via LinkedIn. This way we are able to demonstrate just how familiar we are with many of the core challenges through contextualised sales messages and challenge based discussion. This gives our sales people credibility with the prospect. We’re then able to prize open the door to fruitful 2-way discussion, ultimately leading to a scheduled TC, WebEx, meeting and often straight to RFI or RFP stage.

Whilst the top 50 pharma companies’ appeal is understandable, the length and complexity of the decision making processes, not to mention extensive due diligence, often make the top tier inaccessible for many ‘want to be’ suppliers.
